In the Wake seemed like a total ripoff of their first album. I could never get past that aspect of it.
After Greg Lake left they became a different band, and while they were superb and became the epitome of Progressive Rock (especially live), I just really really like that first album. It was unlike anything else, and it was perfect.

when i heard "The Court of the Crimson King" i was so astonished that immediatly forget about other bands.
