I remember some people talking about BCC, so I figured I'd post this here and see what you guys think. Their new album, "Afterglow," is going to be released October 30th apparently. They've posted some samples of the album at bccommunion.com, plus there's a little article with a track-by-track rundown from Hughes at
http://bccommunion.com/?p=98.
Looks pretty solid to me, though it looks like Bonamassa will have significantly less singing time than previous. That's kind of a bummer for me, I really love the contrast between him and Hughes. But the album sounds pretty good overall. I'm trying to keep my expectations low because BCC 2 was just so great in my opinion. Afraid of a letdown (Gotta be the worst part about a band putting out a great album, isn't it? Worrying about, or having, the next one not be quite as good.

).
Also, pretty incredible for Bonamassa to have this come out. He did a live album and a full studio album a little earlier this year. 3 albums essentially, that's just ridiculous devotion to the trade.
What do you guys think?

I must be a jinx.
Quote: The feud between Glenn Hughes and Joe Bonamassa over the future of Black Country Communion has gone public, with the pair indulging in a brief exchange on Twitter.
The supergroupâs future has been in doubt since frontman Hughes warned he was ready to quit, saying he was frustrated with Bonamassaâs solo career meaning they couldnât tour their new album, "Afterglow".

The former Deep Purple and Black Sabbath man also said heâd been left with the main songwriting chores for the record because Bonamassa was unavailable. Last week they announced a one-off show in England for January, which some believed was a make-or-break moment â then cancelled it soon after pre-sale tickets had become available.
In the absence of an official explanation, producer Kevin Shirley â who masterminded the union of Hughes, Bonamassa, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian â said: "I like to leave these things alone, but I feel an apology is in order. When youâre thrown a lifeline, it doesnât serve you to steal the rope! And tweeting doesnât make it history, or true. Your call will be answered â please enjoy the music..."
Last night bluesman Bonamassa, whoâs just released a video for his song "Dislocated Boy", tweeted: "I am very sorry about the Black Country Communion canceled gig. But principle still stands for something in 2012. I ready to move on."
Hughes, who will tonight appear at the Jim Marshall tribute show in Londonâs Wembley Arena, retweeted the comment and added: "Me too." Earlier, during rehearsals for the show with Andy Fraser and Yngwie Malmsteen, heâd tweeted: "Been a rough week."
BCC formed in 2009 at Shirleyâs suggestion and released their debut album the following year.
"Afterglow" is released at the end of October.
