The Breeders - Mountain Battles
2008 effort, which is pretty standard Breeders fare. There are signs, however, that Kim Deal is starting to mellow a little.
The Ponys - Celebration Castle
US Post-Punk band. Everyone I know that have heard this album (admittedly not that many) seem to think this is very like The Cure, me included. Both this, and the post above were produced by Steve Albini. Two consecutive Albini productions in as many days, by complete coincidence.

I'd picked up that you're a Lydon fan, Catrina. Are you a fan of all the pistols stuff (incl Swindle, Flogging, Lucre), or just stick to the good stuff ??
Of those three, I only really like Lucre, even though there's something slightly wrong about it... |
