New song feedback please. . . .

I wrote this song based on the saying "The only real failure is the failure to try." I would be interested to get some constructive feedback.

OK I am going to be straight - I don't like this type of music. BUT - you have a good voice (you can sing in tune) and the song is cohesive. In my head I hear this in a real studio with a real grand piano and the right reverb. There is a market for this - make no mistake - it just has to be recorded properly - save up your pennies and break the piggy bank! Like I said it's not my thing but it certainly will have market appeal. Keep on.

I would have titled the song 'At least you tried'.

So if Lady Gaga sings it, it's a hit, but since it's just you, you'll need much more to really get some attention. Sometimes trying is just not enough. Besides that, good job.

Your song seems full of realism--not the most encouraging, but realism is what you were aiming for then you hit the nail on the head. I'd just change the part in the chorus from "It may not go to plan" to "Things may not go as planned," just to make it a little easier to understand. Otherwise, though, good work!!

If you get this in a studio, you may have something. You have a good voice and there are definitely people out there who throughly enjoy songs like this and need more. I think it just needs a little more pizazz or something. Keep at it!

You DID NOT PERFORM THE SONG!!!! You just sang it. Sitting in front of the camera and playing a song is something many can do...think of ME!!!! (your audience) try doing this again but look into the lens, feel those lyrics and see if you can transfer the same emotion you felt writing the song to the audience. It will feel weird but you will touch someone and that someone will be your fan...that fan will tell someone else...mission accomplished! Good luck.
