Rolling Stones - No Security
Live, from the Bridges to Babylon tour. Allmusic aren't very enthusiastic about this release, but I think they're wrong.
Another live Stones album certainly isn't a necessary thing, but it's still good to hear a good band at work.

IMHO Lindsey Buckingham deserves to be revered alongside Brian Wilson & Phil Spector as a genius songwriter who's capable of producing near-perfection.

Milton Nascimento - Minas from Minas [1975, EMI Basil]
I don't know if Nascimento fits here. But he made some amazing pysch-rock/soul records in the 70s. I think he was some sort of celebrity in his native Brazil but never made it in the States or UK because he mostly sung in Portuguese.
