At first listen I really didn't care for this album ! I listened to it late last night intently for the second time and it works ! I was disappointed that Sir Paul released an album of covers (two originals) but why not ...Rod Stewart has been making a living from it for years (American Songbook) !
Paul's voice is thin here but it works with these soft jazzy ballads. Good late night easy listening and what a fabulous group of musicians..very tight jazz combo/orchestra ! CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:

Paul McCartney releases a classic album once again. He continues to make great music even at this time. Paul is someone who has done a great job staying around for a long time. Even Lady Gaga likes this man. If you can get likes of her to like your music, it means you are a great global ambassador. That is what Paul McCartney is.

Well put, Cherie ! Some say that he's arrogant, egotistical, and a show off more or less ! I have never had the pleasure of meeting Sir Paul and never will ! So I have no clue regarding his personality traits. If he believes he's a legend then he's right !!!! IMHO ..keep showing off, Sir Paul ! I think a little bit of jealousy is abound amongst the "music world" these days regarding The Legend !,,,I'll just leave it at that for now ...lol !
