the fact that Nickleback are popular is just a proof of how brain-washed most teenagers are. they write music that all sounds exactly the same and are just made for the wal-mart music section. please don't support this cultural holocaust by buying their CD's
canadian music is great though, especially a lot of great bands from Montreal.

I don't know what i think of Nickelback. I quite liked their first couple of albums before Silver Side Up because they sounded quite grunge-y. But after said album they kinda moved into heavy rock-bordering-on-metal and really sad songs. They're an OK band to me - some of their stuff is quite good, other stuff not so good. I still want to buy The State though - i don't feel the same way about Dark Horse :biggrin:

I agree. Nirvana aren't quite as bad as Nickelback, but they're incredibly overrated.

Said perfectly. I don't find him remotely interesting, and he wasn't even that talented as a musician. I understand why people like Nirvana, but they're not for me.
