what do you think of system of a down?

i like em a fair bit, i like the fast pace of some of thier songs and the strange vocals appeal. i like the lyrics even if they do not make alot of sense on the surface


would like other peoples vie on them and thier music, maybe even recomend some other music that is like thiers

Used to like them but am not listening to them anymore.

Dunno about any music that sounds like SOAD's but you could have a listen to Serj Tankians solo album (I dunno how it sounds like though)

I like them.They are a good band even if they are strange in some way.
And hey what if the lyrics dont make sence , its the actuall song that people listen to (music,rhythm etc.)and they start to listen to and/or understand the lyrics after the second or third time they listen to a song.

their sound are actually deep and a good band if u listen to behind the lyrics the song BYOB is actually about the war in iraq

I like them, quite annoyed when they broke up, but a good band in general, B.Y.O.B is great.

They broke up a few years ago, Serj went on to doing solo stuff, then some of the others made a band called "Scars On Broadway" not too fond of them myself.

My mate threw Mesmerize my way a few years back. Totally different to what I normally go for but I absolutely loved it, from the weird lyrics and weird vocals sounds there emrged a highly polished and well produced rock album. God I love Old School Hollywood too !!

They are the band that introduced me into this sort of music, if not, i would still be an 10 year old kid who listened to rap :L
