I especially love their live Beatle covers on YouTube and their live version of Don't Look Back in Anger,,,sort of reminds me a little of Beatlemania ...the crowd sings the words to the whole song while Noel gets misty and tries to sing...it must be quite a feeling to have the crowd feedback like that !!!!
Also welcome aboard MD, Luke !!! Hope your stay is a long one,,,this is a great music discussion group !!!! Luke Duggan Wrote:I just "borrowed" (What's The Story) Morning Glory from my Dad. Fell in love with it, loved Oasis since...

First rock album. Hmm... I do believe (while it wasn't vinyl, which would have been cool) mine was Beggar's Banquet by The Rolling Stones. It has since become one of my favorite albums of all time.

Noel once said that the opening piano notes of Dont Look Back In Anger were a blatent pisstake of Lennon's Imagine, the sound of the song itself pays homeage to the Beatles Rubber Soul album apparently... neverthe less the Morning Glory album is my favourite Oasis album...

It was some god awful tripe by Metallica
it's funny, without such stupid, immature, and childish music, I woud have never discovered all the great things I listen to today

My first entire album was Cyndi Lauper's She's So Unusual but that probably doesn't fit the rock criteria we're trying to meet so probably Bruce Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A.
