This ones for you SteveO, Cumbia and Jazz Fusion

Excellent, as to be expected from the mighty Mingus. This man was a god send, simply the greatest artist to ever record. To call him a genius wouldn't do the man any justice, he's beyond that

One of my all time favorite jazz albums !!!!...the bass intro from Charles is always in my head !!!!

Yeah, "Cumbia..." is amazing. Of course, everything Mingus does is great

And speaking of the fat man, right now I'm digging his classic "The Clown". One of his earliest classics, best know for "Haitian Fight Song" (you can find a better version of it entitled "II BS" on the unfortunately named "Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus")
