i was just browsing through AOL'a new releases and came across this one and i picked it to listen to purely for the cover art, had no idea who FC was...
then i did some research and found that Fallon is an Aussie folk/pop/rock vocalist from Sydney(i wont hold that against him though!).
appaerantly this album was released in january here in Oz....somehow it slipped under not only mine, but also obviously Corey's radar also, im going to have to give him a stern talking to next time i see him..because is isnt good enough, its his job to advise me of new artists and or albums he thinks i might like!
anyway, being folk rock/pop there are some lovely moments of easy listening pop here amongst some cool acoustics and a few rocking guitars(not heavy stuff, probably in line with those of Crowded House type songs.
the vocals sound strangely familliar at times and the nearest comparrisons i can come up with are George Harrison,Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe.
i actually listened to this one twice, the first time i scored it at 2.3 and thought that was a bit high for a new release(one airing) so i scored it again and came out with the same score even though i was trying to be consciously critical of it but to no avail!

well worth a listen, and the old broken record is the same....you wont be dissapointed,i guarentee it!
