Last Saturday night, Heerlen really rocked! To a capacity crowd, three exuberant musicians blew the town a way. Guitar licks flew through the air as three rockers excited and thrilled the crowd. The Pink Floyd experience deflated and the ghost of Syd Barrett deserted ship and asked to audition for Magna Carta………………………………..
The humour flowed as Chris and George exchanged cracks and jokes . Strings burned as old and new songs ignited the audience into a frenzy. Young and old followed the three pied pipers as they rolled back the years and showed what folk rock was all about……………….
Chris really enjoyed himself and his faith was restored, the performance was excellent. It was a pleasure to see the three play. George manfully playing his role in the centre , he was a sharp as a pin and played the audience beautifully. Chris showed the guitar skills he was famous for and brought the Yorkshire dales and all the emotions that he can conjure from them to Limburg. Laurens showed his exceptional talents well and his playing was a perfect foil to the other two.
