New pop punk band

Just was on myspace and saw a band called Red Car Wire at myspace.com/redcarwire . They sound just like The All American Rejects and Simple Plan but with a new sound to it. I really liked what I heard and was able to check out a video clip about the band teen.com/channels/tv/index.vm?vid=vCeeuYI9ZWJK5pBbHa_eo_N_upprD_bl . If you like pop punk they like a good band to check out.

Listened to the 2 songs on their myspace - I would have said very Blink 182 rather than Simple Plan. I can see why some people might like them........trying to be nice...........difficult.

quickly change subject - so anyway - I was in the car with my daughter the other day and Fat Lip came up on shuffle - and we started to sing along - then the car beside us beeped the horn and it had 4 teenage girls in it who started to sing along too - so that's at least 4 other people who like pop punk - increasing the known numbers by 200%

That I suppose, and the fact that I seem to be unable to post without mentioning my kids may have given it away!

Anyway - I've just checked with my (teenage) son who indeed confirms that pop punk is very popular (but he's not happy about it - that's my boy!)

these days people with kids could still be teenage its actually disturbing to me

and i pretty much like any style of music besides rap cant stand it so im happy with pop punk but i was also raised on metal and true punk like the sex pistols
