Hey everybody,
I'm Crazyguy106, from Singapore, a young chap who's really into music, music education and mental health. I'm aiming towards bringing music therapy into Singapore's public hospital system to start a new movement. =D
This is something that I've been working on regarding music education... =)
It's actually more of a personal reflection blog on some levels. =P
Oh and my favourite music to listen to are actually jazz and advant garde.

Welcome to the site. Always been curious about music therapy but know nothing about it, so I for one will be reading your articles. I have always suspected that we could be achieving far more with music other than just using it for entertainment or pleasure, although I would not know where to begin with a subject like this. If music can affect us - i.e. make us feel good or move us in some way then the converse should be true as well. We should be able to alter our mindset by selecting the right kind of music in order to produce a required result instead of just reacting to a piece once we hear it. We should be able to be more proactive about it. Ummm hope that makes sense. (Or should that be 'Ommmm' - In search of the Lost Chord no doubt!)
Which leads me to this next point - what about a best album poll for the Moody Blues - now that would be a really difficult one to choose - for me anyway.

Welcome aboard ! I also have an appreciation for jazz...especially the avant garde !!! Very fun to listen to because you don't know where it's going to take you !!!! I applaud your occupation !
