In other words, what song is the best rock song to end an album? Perhaps "When the Levee Breaks" from Zeps symbols album (A.K.A. Zoso album or Zep IV). Or how about "Goodnight" from The Beatles White Album? Or my personal favorite, "Last Chance" from Shooting Star's debut on Virgin records.
What's your choice?

Maybe not the best ending song but a contender, the 6+ minute version of "The Weight" from Levon Helm's Ramble at The Ryman in 2008 when he was 68 or 69.

Love the Band, and Levon's voice... and all live music is usually best! He played here in Columbus not too long ago... wish I went.

A Day in The Life at the end of Sgt Pepper always seemed to me to be an excellent end to an album.

I think "The End " on Abby road has to be in the frame .............The end to the album and to many intents and purposes the end to the career of the fab four...............................................................................................................................................
and
Oh
Yeah ..............The encore and final bow..............Her Majesty
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
