SteveO Wrote:One of the few hard rock/heavy metal groups I enjoy ! I like the voice and it's just straight ahead HR/HM and no death growls! You can hear the Ozzy/Black Sabbath influence on Zac Wilde. Did you catch this concert EvilB ?

I did not see BLS in Calgary, but did see Zakk Wylde with Ozzy in Calgary the summer before. An entertaining show.

EvilB, very cool, Thanks !!! where did ya get the video ? you don't have to tell me if you prefer not to !!!

I prefer straight ahead hard rock + heavy metal ala Soundgarden, Muse, Opeth (do use some death growls), Porcupine Tree,Eluveitie, etc. groups lilke that. I have listened to tons and tons of metal ..all genres and I don't get a full album of grunting and howling...exception may be Burzum because I think he's somewhat of a genius even if he's a little off the rails (convicted murderer and suspected church burner).

Enslaved started to ease up on DGs and I like their album from last year - Axioma Ethica Odini.
