The Wind in the Fields
#1
OK - a chance to have a laugh at my expense - a VERY rough mix of a track I am working on - this was thrown together pretty quckly and there still some bum notes flying around but I'll get round to polishing it up one day.

Yours truly........I know it's crap but I felt I just had to do something with all this stuff I have written over the years. Otherwise I would actually have to admit to myself that I wasted God knows how many years. Many more on the way......

By the way if someone things they can do a better job of the singing (who can't) and is serious about putting some effort into it - you are welcome to collaborate. Aiming for a kind of vocal harmony (CSN&Y) type of thing. I will provide the bass part. Two or three others required to make it float. Nothing ventured.......

Reminds me alot of Sun Kill Moon, I like it. Sadly I cannot help you with vocals, because I have none lol.

Haven't heard SKM so I'll check them out. I'm not and never have been a singer - I can do harmony stuff but that's about it. So I'll have to see who I can find to help. Thx for the comment.

it sounds pretty good to me Jerome...but im no expert on 'recording', just listening.
your vocals sound fine to me for the feel of the track...there are a lot worse vocalists out there scoring #1 hits.
im going to put the track on my ipod and let others give their opinions.
