In my opinion:
Waters solo albums all good, & very like the Floyd.
Gilmour solo albums all pants, with the possible exception of Live at Gdansk set.

I just heard Flaming Lips' Dark Side of the Moon..
& honestly they did a good job.. I really encourage you guys to give it a try..
they did manage to add their own touch to it, but that's what makes it fun. If you like the Lips, you should give this a try.

Roger Waters - Radio KAOS - very good
Roger Waters - The Pros & Cons of Hitchiking - not bad
Roger Waters - Amused to Death - OK/quite good
Roger Waters - Ca Ira - strange
Rick Wright - Wet Dream - quite like this one

Looking at this Jerome , it seems that , with a bit of work, it would be a suitable basis for a Beginners guide thread !!!!:biggrin:
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )

Might just do it when I get some time - busy writing material for a vocalist in UK at the moment. Hellishly busy re-organising my home studio as well. It looks like WW3 here at the moment.

Hawkwind is actually quite similar to Pink Floyd in terms of psychedelic experimentation.
