its gotta be the first one for me.

It's probably not fair for me to vote on this one as I've only heard from 'IV' album onwards with exception of Presence & Coda. I think they have great songs dotted about each album such as 'The Crunge' on Houses Of The Holy & 'The Rover' from Physical Graffiti. Despite it's panning, I think 'In Through The Out Door' is a good album & 'In The Evening' is a great track.

ive heard bits and pieces, and only have iv, so it would be unfair to vote for it with nothing to compare it to
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..."  -  Me 2014.

Houses of the Holy. 'Over the Hills and Far Away'. Physical Graffiti 'Kashmir' But the first Led Zep album I ever heard and the one that remains the best for me is 'The Song Remains The Same'. For me Zep were always the consumate 'live' band. Their studio material was great - but nothing compared to the live versions. They always performed better under pressure. Or was it a platform for egos? Nevermind, it worked for me. Strangely enough my favourite track is No Quarter - Mr Bonham was bloody brilliant in this.

Theearly, ripped-off stuff, was way better than anything they tried to write themselves. )

Really, really tough call, because Led Zep had so many great albums. But I think their best ones were a toss-up between IV, Houses of the Holy, and Physical Graffitti. I, II, and III are also great. I've always felt the last three - Presence, In Through the Out Door, and Coda, were the weakest, and those are the ones I've always listened to the least.

The riff and groove that "How Many More Times" has is amazing and is one of the first songs i learned how to play

The debut gets my vote!

I had to go with their debut album ! Can't ignore the forceful power of Good Times Bad Times/Communication Breakdown that a 15 year old air guitarist embraced. First " heavy music " I heard.
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

Love that description about 'air guitar' - very true.
