Neil Young - Le Noise
#21
CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:yes it is my doing, when i got 'the wall' i told them to send everyone with an a/c 'recommend-le noise'.
Le Noise is NY's 'lodger'....a sleeper that will become a 'classic' in years to come

I've actually never bothered to listen to MFTB. Does that make me a poor excuse for a Floyd fan ??

I'm aware of its' reputation, though, and I like Lloyd far too much to want to inflict that on him.

Seriously though it's just not worth it. Even the cover art is crap. Who wants to look at a woman's body with the skin removed?? Skin flicks are one thing but skinLESS flics. Noooooooooo thank you. Zero out of 10. I can just sense that Lloyd is smirking down there in Oz. By the way Mr Music Head - that icon/widget thing of yours is classic. Most appropriate. 'The Laughing Old Lady' for want of a better description.

And Lloyd - I wouldn't call it a sleeper. More like comatose. (Tee hee)

Just curious Lloyd - would you be a CS&N fan? Or only NY? I think 4 Way Street was spectacular. And 'Daylight Again' is one of my faves by them.

4 Way Street is on my 'buy' list, have CSNY 'Deja Vu'....some great songs on there, also the 'Deja Vu' live dvd, Stiils/Young Band album 'long may you run', so to answer the question i like some of their material, to put it in perspective...im not a blind fan of NY...he's made a few duff albums and a few very average ones also....like any artist, except The Beatles who didnt make a single bad album

i gotta admit it, he comes up with some great 'one-liners' and icon widgets sometimes
