hi, yes as the title suggests...i love neil young, i also love paul weller, johnny cash, elvis, mccartney, finn brothers, oasis and eminem.
i pretty much like bits of everything but those are my favourite artists of all time,
of the newer breed of artist i like gaslight anthem, band of horses, fleet foxes, jet, leader cheetah, florence and the machine.
artists i could live without are abba, eagles, america, queen, pink floyd, clapton, cars, b52s, stones.
ive been collecting music since i was 7 (36 yrs ago), the first albums i bought were '40 greatest' and 'easy come easy go' by elvis, the first single i bought was in 1978, grease by franki valli.
all for now, see you all around the threads soon.

Hello Crazy Horse, & welcome to MD.
There a few big NY fans here, and most of your tastes will fit in very well.
Since you don't like Pink Floyd, I'll be mostly ignoring you (joking...).
Hope you enjoy the site.
How can you not like Abba? Gross!

Ha, well I dont really follow football that much on a regular basis. Couldn't call myself a 'supporter' as such but I like Newcastle Utd.

tiggi, i actually have 'the wall' 'dark side of the moon' 'the final cut' and 'division bell' albums, what i meant was, as with the other bands i said i could live without, i do have albums by them, i just wouldnt lose sleep if i didnt play them again, i am quite knoweledgeable on music, have 100's and 100's of vinyl albums, and the same with cds, i dont dismiss any artist without actually listening to their material.
i must say that when i 'criticise' bands etc on this site, most of it is to stir up reaction and discussion, get the old juices flowing, if you know what i mean,

I do know what you mean.
No problem with your comment, as I firmly believe differences of opinion are what make places like this worth frequenting.
Plus, as I'm sure you've realised by now, I haven't held your comment against you .
