I got a new flute mic as my other one got wet and stopped working.
So I got this Audix one....

but the clip is really noisy...so I made a new one
I used it for a Canada Day show and it went well. The big hit of the show was "Don't Stop Believin'" I guess there were a lot of teenage girl's in the audience  who like Glee (as do I).
Here's a YouTube video of me testing out my new mic and clip.

Neato, yes, that would be fun. Here is an mp3 of a more 'conceptual' style song:

I am listening to 'Rainsong' at the moment - great stuff! Is this your own work?
In a way it reminds me of the theme from 'The Deer Hunter'.

I assure you, no animals were harmed in the recording of that mp3
Rainsong was a midi file I got with a piece of software, many years ago and I just loved it, so I orchestrated it and moved some bits around, but the original file was some demo on some now (probably) defunct product.

Hi Penny
Oh right. You've done a good job of it anyway - you seem to be quite vesatile. Wil be in touch via your website later this week with some stuff you can try out and we can discuss details. Have a number of projects I am fiddling around with. Intially wrote and played all the parts on synths with various sampling plug-ins and now going through the process of replacing all of that with live instrumentation. A labour of love really. Trying to create a blend of many different styles. There aren't many flute parts but where they do appear I would like them to be 'live'. What you see/hear on the site is just the tip of the iceberg.
