Unlike many who (no pun intended) responded, I am a huge WHO fan.
Who's Next This was a transitional album for the band and they nailed it from first to last track. I'm clearly a little off, 'cuz I also love the album "Paint by Numbers". I also must admit that many of my favorite WHO tracks are from "Tommy" Mac

Everything the who does is nothing less than excellent, except perhaps, endless wire and sellout. But it was still a no brainer voting for who's next. The energy, always a must with me. Pioneering with the synthesizer was also a plus on this album.

SO funny ....because until like two days ago I thought the name of that song was *Teenage Wasteland*
I do LOVE that song ..The opening gives me chills. I think there are many who did too... I had every cool album known in the 70s ...but don't think I had one WHO album...I was not into the guitar breaking stuff at the time..Still not really ...But of course with age... I get them now. I get the genius. As a matter of fact....I'm going to spend topday listening to them..I see from reading here... I haven't heard enough to be really objective. Squeezebox just turns me off lol I'm SO not a prude..but it's too raunchy an idea for me.

I'm not a huge Who fan, but think they have made some excellent albums. This is just the best of the lot for me...
