Let's discuss Jack White.
He seemed to be a a part of many other bands besides White Stripes.
I personally have only heard White Stripes. What's your opinion on the other bands..
Discuss anything about Jack White or his bands or even the upcoming movie.

Saw It Might Get Loud the week before last. I thought it was good but not overwhelmingly so.
Jimmy Page was slightly smug but he has reason to be, he was also pretty cool and seemed to be wise. I love the bit where he talked about getting the drum sound for the start of When The Levee Breaks, and when they played together at the end and he went for Whole Lotta Love - would have been way too cheesey from anyone else.
The Edge was really dull - nice bloke I'm sure.
Jack White was 'kin cool and very charasmatic. Loved the bit at the start were he built the one stringed proto-guitar.

Saw him once shortly after he formed the Raconteurs when they played a local festival. They were really excellent, easily the best of the day (I think the Kaiser Chiefs were headlining !).
This was before the album I think but he was obviously having such fun and was great with the crowd. At the end they seemed so pleased - you would have thought that they had just played Wembley.
So no, I don't think he's that scary (and if he is it's just the right level of scary) ..... but then I am just a little bit in love

I think CP is referring to the upcoming documentary,
Under Great White Northern Lights. I am looking forward to seeing it.
I saw the White Stripes perform twice when they toured with
White Blood Cells. This is before it was re-released on V2 Records. It was around 2000 or 2001. The first venue I saw them play was The End in Nashville, TN. Then my friends and I went to see them on their next tour stop at the 40 Watt in Athens, GA. Neither venue holds more than 300 people. I remember being particularly impressed with their cover of Dolly Parton's
Jolene.
I have not listened to much of Jack White's work on other projects. I'm interested in listening to the Dead Weather's album. I'm a fan of Alison Mosshart from the Kills, the other singer in the band.

I've never been a fan of the White Stripes and after hearing about how they dealt with Billy Childish I lost what modicum of respect I had.
