Boxing Day was pleasant compared to Christmas Day.
clouds rolled in last night had a few light showers throughout the day, a cool breeze and temp maxed out at a lovely 25C/77F

Pretty hot here too today - the howling south easter has finally gone away, but today, tomorrow and the 26th of December are days to stay firmly put if you live on this stretch of coast. Absolute mayhem out there. Everyone and their aunty and their tent goes to the beach for the entire day - traffic is diabolical and general chaos ensues. A couple of lunatics had to be rescued from the big choppy sea after launching a blow-up craft from an especially rocky spot - the kind of lilo type thing you get for a swimming pool. Probably not safe in a tidal pool never mind open ocean. Seriously. I dunno ...

temps slowly cooled down after that last post lowest day temp over the last two weeks was 26C/78F and the highest has been 38C/100F today was 36C/96F
