I hear you MH. America has produced some fantastic musicians over the decades. The UK as well. But what I hear coming out of these two countries at the moment is pure crap. Well at least the co-called popular ones anyway. Talent is taking a back seat to hype, bullshit and Simon Cowell & Co. Why can't people hear the difference? How is it that people can't tell the difference between the hype and real musicianship?

I can't get past the name of the so-called artist. Quite bizarre.
People have stopped being discerning - it's something like a desensitisation, if I were to hazard a guess. Caused by a glut of pretty much everything, including music. Over-consumption. That's my theory. We're going to 'eat' ourselves right out of existence. Total imbalance.
