Slow Music recommendations.

I couldn't think of a better topic name..
I am looking for some slow music... something along the lines of Beck - Everybody's got to learn sometime. Kind of music you would want to listen to when you're down & low.

When I read your post the following came to my mind............Try Nick Drake There are three albums ( Maybe four ) Five Leaves Left Bryter Later Pink Moon Many people find Nick a touch depressive ( Perhaps because his life was not that bright but it might be along the right lines ) Gryphon

Thanks.. Nick Drake was recommended to me few years ago by friend..
love his music.. Though Must have heard only few songs Pink Moon being one of them... Thanks & keep it coming.. M going through a phase for which I need this.

Glancing through my iTunes library, here is a list of albums (in alphabetical order by artist) that feature mostly slow songs. All are worthy. All fit under "alternative/indie".

By my original comment I only meant that I was truly impressed with the length of your list. I do know that you have a varied interest, but mistakenly was under the impression that your primary area was electronic. I respect your knowledge and will check some of these out because of your post, as I do with most of our members. :focus: carbon other than gryphons excellent Nick Drake suggestion all that comes to mind for me right now is, very early Bruce Cockburn.
