NEW ALBUM: Coldplay - "moon music"

tenth studio album (bloody hell, as many as that!), i gave up after the fourth...
listened to the single yesterday and i liked it because it was a simple piano track like some of their early material...
opening track is an ambient/electronica wanky instrumental, hint to band, stay away from genres/styles if you dont belong there...
a couple of those modern Coldplay sounding doof-doof songs which i do not care for
another couple with featured artists, again, i did not care for those either...
the rest were simple songs, nothing pretentious or overblown and i liked those,
whether liking half of the album is something i am prepared to pay for is another thing but at least they seem to be heading back to what i liked about them..

favourite track has already been posted,
i do really like the build up of the closing track, a fitting end to the album IMO

was expecting it to debut at #1 here in Australia this week but it came in at #2 instead.
lets see what the UK charts has in store for us tomorrow and the US charts next wednesday
