a remake of the 1974 horror classic...
personally i was never a big fan of the original so i dont know why i bothered with this remake.
pretty bad slasher movie...

the autobiographical book was written in 2016 with Ron Howard making the movie in 2020.
the dude came from nothing, a Holler in Eastern Kentucky thru to Ohio.
his single mum parent was abusive and a drug addict.

modern horror that was actually quite good...

basically a possession movie,
girl dies  during exorcism and weird stuff begins to happen in morgue when body arrives there...
is far better than the cliched plot indicates...

THE AMITYVILLE HORROR

a revisit...

i remember the book scaring the wits out of me as a kid and the movie equally as spine chilling at the time of release...
pretty lame now,
terrible all round performances..

i still wonder if the place was really haunted though...

Liam plays an ex-marine who owns a ranch near the mexican border.
he witnesses a woman and child come through a hole in the fence.
the woman and child are being chased by cartel members who wish to exact revenge after a relative of the woman stole from them.
an exchange of bullets leaves the woman dead and also a cartel member.
the cartel then come after Neeson and the boy in a cat and mouse game of 'last man standing'
