I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass on this one.

I have 4 AC/DC albums and have only heard 2 others in their entirety.

I do not feel that is sufficient to make a proper judgement.

Just never was a big fan. Couldn't get past either Angus or Brians screaching.

Obviously live albums are excluded, otherwise I'd have voted for If You Want Blood, You've Got it. Great slice of live R&R.

Therefore, I'll have to go for Back in Black. Perhaps the greatest comeback album following the death of such an integral part of the band...

Back in Black

There is not even a close second for AC/DC. BNB was (is) an incredibly well written album from beginning to end and has, as an album, stood the test of time for the band and the listeners. The production was perfect for the time and for the artist. AC/DC has a signature sound.
I must admit that my favorite AC/DC song is not from this album, but other records released by the band are not nearly as consistently good from first to last track; they had great songs, but were not great albums.
BNB is an iconic album. Songs from this record are played at weddings, in metal bars, at strip bars, at sporting events and still enjoy tons of radio air-time. To come on the heels of the death of Bon just magnifies the legend and significance of this great album.

BNB is one of a kind.

It's not easy to choose, but i voted for Back In Black

i thought it was easy to choose...Back In Black....without a doubt,every track is a cracker. i dont like any albums prior to that one,they were patchy at best,the singles were good. i dont think they'd have got as big as they did/are with Bon Scott at the front. although Bon had charisma and prescence surrounding him he wasnt as good a vocalist as Brian is.
we have a bronze statue here in Perth(fremantle) of Bon,being his home town and all, lots of people still flock to his grave site at Fremantle Cemetry on his death anniversary.
just as a note of interest, AC/DC guitarist, malcom young, was a member of Easybeats in the 1960s and wrote a number of their songs.

I like the ones before the BIB album as well, but as you said every track on that album is brilliant

How do the post BIB albums compare to the Bon Scott albums? I only have BIB and all the Scott albums. BIB is my favorite, though I also like Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.
