Fearsome south easterly. Clear blue skies. No beach. High tide at the 'wrong time' and an onshore wind makes for rather unpleasant conditions which is a bit sad for all those who traditionally take to the water's edge in droves on New Year's Day. No let up in sight.

i am noticing a distinct difference in the heat this summer with temps at their hottest around 4pm as opposed (on average) to around 1-2pm in previous years

reached that temp at around 10am then the clouds rolled in, the temp dropped and the humidity kicked in...
