'Virtuoso' with Anthony Hopkins - not a brilliant movie, quite slow as well, but it has a certain feel to it that compelled me to keep watching. I enjoyed it. What I would call a 'gritty' movie.

'Sins of the Mother' - on Netflix - a documentary. It never ceases to amaze me what people are capable of doing once they embrace religious fanaticism.

For a complete hoot watch 'America's Worst Cooks' on Amazon Prime. Hysterical. At one point they had to call the Fire Dept! I was watching this last night over a glass of wine. I was in bloody tears afterwards. Funniest thing I have seen in ages.
BTW - Season 4 is the best bit.

'Blonde' on Netflix. Brilliant performance by Ana de Armas, but a very disjointed film that I found a real struggle to sit through. Almost like the director did not really know what he wanted to say. I could not sit through this again. Once was enough.

i have heard mixed reviews about it, mostly negative so i have been apprehensive about watching it. i might give it a miss for the time being....

Touching The Void on Netflix. I read the book by Joe Simpson some time ago but the movie makes it a lot more real. This man had balls of the very big kind.

Earthstorms - either on Netflix or Prime - can't remember which! About tornados, hurricanes, volcanoes & tsunamis. Some brilliant footage and some seriously disturbed people.

American Woman. Brilliant performance by Sienna Miller. A slow-ish movie but compelling viewing nevertheless. Not everyone's cup of tea but I really enjoyed it. Real life portrayed real well.
