not sure how old this is but it has obviously come to light with the announcement of the imminent release of the movie "where the crawdads sing", but it seems author Delia Owens is wanted for questioning in Zimbabwe in connection to a mysterious murder many years ago whilst she and her husband were living there:

hospitals here are now calling the mothers of babies "birthing parent" on their paperwork...WTF!
