Govt performing some post-summer bush burn-offs over the last few days and the smoke lingers and settles overnight causing a haze/blanket over the 'burbs.
was on my way to the local markets this morning and coughing really bad due to chest irritation from the smoke so had to get out of there for my health!

i think the thunderstorm last might must have settled above out house for at least an hour because the sounds were the loudest i can ever recall hearing....
a storm midmorning also followed by a couple of light showers with periods of bright sunshine (on my shoulder)
