This was complicated. They had so many compilation albums which I included most of, even though there are duplicate tracks. They also include tracks that are not on any studio albums.

Who's Next for me.

I'm not a huge Who fan, but think they have made some excellent albums. This is just the best of the lot for me...

Like Tiggi I am not a huge Who fan, even though I own all albums except Join Together, Two's Missing and Endless Wire, and have never heard those. Ok fine, I'm a fan, just not a huge fan. My vote went to Quadrophenia. I love concept albums, so it and Tommy were at the top, with Quad getting the nod because the Tommy movie was a waste of time, lol.

For me it was a tough decision between Sell Out and Who's Next. I ultimately went with Who's Next for the consistent quality all the way through (high), the album art, and the nostalgia of listening to my dad's records and liking it the best as a kid. He has first pressings of Who's Next, Sell Out and Tommy.

With a couple of obvious exceptions, I always thought the Who weren't much of an album group compared with their peers. Perhaps that's why "Meaty, Beaty", and "Live at Leeds" are so popular.

Still, I have a special spot for Quadrophenia for some reason.

The Who are an okay group. I chose Who's Next because it has two songs on it that I really fell in love with. Those two songs are "Baba O'Riley" and "Behind Blue Eyes."

Now, I'm in the mood to listen to "Baba O' Riley"....off to YouTube. :happy:
