Two junkies tried to collect a dead relative's pension from the Post Office in a small town in Ireland. They were told he had to be present to get the pay-out. So they went back to the house and dragged the dead guy into the Post Office (now wearing a mask and sunglasses - in winter no less) and tried to pretend he was still alive. They were propping him up between themselves at the counter. Human beings never cease to amaze me at what they are capable of doing. Some people are just plain bonkers.

Sounds like a not very tasteful version of Waking Ned, which was funny, I thought. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waking_Ned)

^^
woke up this morning and chuckled to myself that Woke/Cancel Culture exponent Neil Young tried to cancel Joe Rogan and all that happened is that Neil Young got himself cancelled...backfired! LOL

personally, i dont give a crap about Rogan, i think he is an idiot from what ive seen (wouldnt be surprised if he was a 'flat-earther') but he has a right to express his point of view like anyone else.

LOL...
another hippy hanger-on removes their music from Spotify in solidarity of Comrade Young: https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia...d=msedgntp

how do you figure it backfired on Neil
he requested his music be removed and it was
revenue from Rogan brings in more than Neil
Joni jumping in is of little significance
unless that turns into a snowball by the mainstream media pushing it
Spotify will not drop Rogan

a quote from Neil

I support free speech. I have never been in favor of censorship. Private companies have the right to choose what they profit from, just as I can choose not to have my music support a platform that disseminates harmful information. I am happy and proud to stand in solidarity with the front-line health care workers who risk their lives every day to help others.

very well said I think

because all it has done has put Rogan in the spotlight now and people who may not have been listening to him may well check him out and those on the cusp of similar views may now listen and support his views.

like you said, thy make more money from Rogan than Young, the only way they will get rid of him is if it snowballs with other major artists removing their material
