What Are You Listening To?
Today's pick - one of the more obscure EP's in my collection - https://youtu.be/xwBhCsaZR3w

Track 2 is my favourite.

GEOFFREY RICHARDSON – Completeness

Having a Caravan inspired listen to Geoffrey Richardson. His mastery of various instruments is really quite remarkable. And he does recording too. Going backwards through his solo catalogue, which is not lengthy, he’s mostly played with/for other bands (not least The Penguin Café Orchestra). Started with this one which was released sometime this year – August, I think. What a pleasure – lovely album – not available outside the UK. Hmmm … https://geoffreyrichardson.com/

Going with this one which seems appropriate!

Another very nice track - "In the World" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euu33uO0J8o

Coupla instrumentals as well - this being one "Rhossili Bay" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5zceH-UJvE

QUEEN  "sheer heart attack" cd, 1974

a revisit today.....

their third album...
no, the song of the same name wasnt even written then, that appeared some years later...
still some elements of hard rock from their first two albums.
a lot more emlodic piano based tracks also as they develop their sound further...
love most of this album and when i consider that "killer queen" isnt in my favourite seven or eight tracks, it demonstrates how good this one is.
I LOVE THIS ALBUM

favourite on this listen:

Today's pick - grew up on this - and what a bassline - so simple - so bloody brilliant! And that laid-back brass section - sublime.
