^I have Shot of Love on vinyl. Been carting it around with me for decades! And I can't remember the last time I listened to it - must have been in the previous century. Lol!

A book - Fred de Vries's Blues for the White Man. He wrote it in Dutch originally and it was published two years ago in the Netherlands. Fairly recently translated - I attended the Zoom book launch which is not quite the same as a real live one! Looks like it will be an entertaining and thought provoking read.

David Minasian's The Sound of Dreams finally landed! Yay! Quite a mission to get hold of some of the music I'd like. Postal services and ridiculous import duties being the main impediments.

so, Lenny,
i own five albums of his.
very eclectic artist recording jazz, blues, rock, pop, funk, soul, r+b etc (usially on one album!)

so, with that sort of eclecticism i just assume that his life experiences must be vast and wide and probably worthy of exploring of him as a person.
time will tell.....

a biography about Michael Gudinski, music producer, promoter, impressario...
a self made multimillionaire...
Australia's equivalent of David Geffen and Richard Branson...

Gudinski died a couple of months ago and i purchased this whilst browsing a local bric-a-brac store with my sister earlier today.
a good purchase for $6 IMO and looking forward to starting it tomorrow night.....

Uncle Neil's band...
released in 1972, their third...
i own the self titled debut on cd which is really good...
looking forward to giving this a spin over the next few days
