contians typical Murphy humour...
rude, crude and politically incorrect...
had never seen the movie previously...
one of those stupidly funny movies you dont have to think too much about when youre watching it
just a simple enjoyable way to waste 80 minutes IMO.

revisiting some vintage/classic  Doctor Who .
this time my favourite era where Doctor is portrayed by Tom Baker.
he was the longest serving Doctor (1974-1981) with a few cameos over the years since.
corny with el-cheapo visual effects but thats all part of its charm IMO

British comedy.
in the same vein as Tim Allen's "the santa claus", only funnier, because well, the Brits make the best comedies (and thrillers, and docos, and drama, oh crap, they make everything better)
anyway,
yes its a funny movie.

Watched FT a couple of months back - still very good. Watched 'Vexed' last night - 3 episodes - two ill-matched cops (male and female) - very funny in parts.

back to Fawlty Towers...
the PC brigade is at it again.
prior to "the germans" episode there were two warnings on the screen:

1: "fawlty towers is a classic comedy series which reflects the broadcast standards, language and attitude of its time. some viewers may find its content offensive".
2: "The Major uses some inappropriate racist language, viewer discretion is advised".

during the episode, the two words were bleeped out. WTF is wrong with people...
its a whole lot less offensive than the majority of words in rap songs but theyre okay apparently?!

People are far too easily offended - they can't deal with reality anymore - they want to live locked up in their mobile phone fantasy worlds. God help them if they ever have to deal with a world war. The snowflake generation just do not have have a clue how to deal with anything.

We have a worldwide pandemic that is creeping across the planet and all the snowflake generation can talk about is the fact that they cannot go on holiday!!??!! Humans are just plain stupid. And there's no vaccine for that.

a film made by Neil's other half, Daryl Hannah and starring Neil, Promise Of The Real and Willie Nelson...
billed as a sci-fi western.
ends up being a "WTF was that" watch...
it was really strange, i didnt understand it but there were lots of references to the environment.

loved the album of the same name.
hate this piece of crap...

A band of outlaws hide high up in the Mountains. The group pass the hours searching for treasure while they wait for the full moon to lend its magic, bring the music and make the spirits fly.

Santa's brother is a no good piece of crap who needs his famous brother's money to get out of jail. Santa agrees on condition the troublesome brother comes to the North Pole...
obviously theres a lot of mayhem.
stupid insipid movie, suitable for teens IMO.
a few funny moments but generally underwhelming.
had no idea Spacey was in it until he appeared, not a fan of "deviant Kev" and would have turned it off had Dani not wanted to watch it.
