What 's the weather like where you are ?
31C/88F here today
again, bloody humid,
not gonna whine about it though, would rather that than what the other side of the country is dealing with.

Gale force south easterlies - seriously strong winds that have been gaining momentum over the past few days. If it weren't for the wind it would have been unbearably hot (which it has been anyway, IMHO - humidity off the charts) but all of a sudden, this evening, we are having wild stormy squalls with a smattering of horizontal rain blowing around and the temperature has plummeted dramatically! Quite bizarre.

(Sorry for being so absent guys - have had a full schedule lately. Things will probably settle down a bit now.)

Climatic extremes indeed ! Is the Aussie Open tennis still ongoing ? Can't seem to find it anywhere even if it's 14 hours ahead in time.

My sympathy goes out to the poor folks and critters experiencing hell on earth in Eastern Australia !

Snow here of course. -17 C and that's dam cold ! About 1 degree Fahrenheit for our American member Music Head  ha ha and you have got your problems in the US of A my friend ! Where do I start....terrible chaos for a democracy. I'll leave it at that ! except John Kasich should run !

Poor Newfoundland got caught up in a snow blizzard with a hurricane ! They got 80 cm ( 32 inches of snow ) and are now in a state of emergency !
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

yes SteveO,

the Australian Open Tennis is still going ahead.
I saw a couple of interviews with players this morning, their personal training/medical staff believe( at this point anyway) that all is okay.

as for people/native fauna and flora, the ecology on our Eastern Seaboard has been decimated but it will come back, nature always finds a way to recover.

I just saw the Newfoundland blizzard aftermath on BBC World News, terrible...how about you give us some of that snow and we'll send over some heat?
