Typical NY & CH Country-Rock-Garage-Band material.

Not so much a concept album as a mini soap opera about a fictitious community. Not well received by the critics, but I think it's great.

My objectivity may be a little suspect when it comes to NY...

Can't believe the amount of material this guy puts out.
And most of it I still like.
You would think he would dry up after all these years, but the guys still got it imo.

Motor City Madman of Amboy Dukes fame broke out on his own in 1975 and never looked back. While never hitting the upper stratosphere of the the rock kingdom, the guy has certainly earned his legacy just from live appearances. This 3rd solo effort may well be his best, reaching #17 in the U.S. with the title track at #30.
