Try the early material ...the album Waterloo is interesting and shows them when they were aspiring pop song writers and is different to the tracks we know of as ABBA.

I will do. Thx Gryphon. Busy listening to Springsteen's 'The Ghost of Tom Joad'. In my opinion his best work ever. He has many great albums but this is the one that stays with me. Partly inspired by John Steinbeck's 'The Grapes of Wrath' it is a dark and desolate album but not without great beauty as well. An album that was a constant companion during some dark times.

Traffic - The Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys. Not as great as I remember it from many years ago. I was a bit disappointed but then again I have not listened to this in about 20 years or more.

I’ve been listening to King Crimson – the first three albums. Gordon Haskell sings on the third, Lizard, and his is the voice on “Cadence and Cascade” from In the Wake of Poseidon while everything else was sung by Greg Lake. A demo version has surfaced with Lake himself singing which is poignant and quite beautiful.

Mike Batt - Waves - have not heard this for ages. Man was a bloody genius. The title track is super-good. You can 'see' the waves.
