Spotify listen:

UK folky/Americana artist...
seventeenth studio set but ive never heard of her previously? (maybe Gryphon has???)
raised up listening to primarily Dylan, Cohen, Baez, Joni etc....
im hearing Beth Orton, Joan Baez and Sheryl Crow in the songs...
well worth a listen if you get a chance...
its on the "to purchase" list, superb stuff!

my favourite:

"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..."  -  Me 2014.

^Nice! Fantabulous strings. I'll listen to the album.

Is it still Americana if someone's a Brit? Not being facetious - just asking. Smile

I guess that's open for conjecture, but yes, it does sound strange...
