Mr. Jones is a really talented player. I also used his quartet for some string arrangements which will be surfacing once I figure out how to mix them properly. I created the violin part via MIDI and a VST instrument. Then sent that off to be duplicated and he got it exactly the way I wanted it. And very reasonably priced as well, which is something rare when it comes to session musicians.

Another one up on the site (05.22) - top middle - cello parts by Evva Mizerska - another seriously talented session musician living and working in London but originally from Poland. Bouzouki part is by John Zytaruk who hails from Canada - Toronto if I remember correctly. Drums as always by Marc Norgaard, Baltimore Maryland. This is track 10 of the 'Scenes' project which might just see the light of day in the not too distant future. Again, mix is a little on the rough side but easily fixed once I get my arse in gear!

Not quite there yet CH but close. I always find that when you work on a project it pays to step away and leave it for a while. You get a new perspective when you revisit them. Sometimes you find some glaring mistakes and sometimes you add things or take away things. Some of these tracks have been lying around for years. Time to pull it all together. It would be a shame to leave the projects unfinished after all the time and money I have invested.

Right, after having an endless amount of shit to deal with over the last 6 months, I am finally going to produce physical copies of the first two projects. I am trying to get Heba Kadry to do the final master for me. https://www.hebakadry.com
Meanwhile in the background project number three and four continue to develop along at a slow pace. Just no time to work on the stuff at the moment.

Well, after mailing a few times Heba Kadry has yet to reply. So I went off to Andy Jackson (andy@tubemastering.com) and I got a reply in 5 minutes flat! So the project goes off to him later today/early tomorrow morning. If you snooze you lose. Now I have to sort out the bloody artwork.

Done and dusted. Mastering session over. This guy is super-efficient. BTW Andy told me he is working on a 'back catalogue' project for the Floyd. Curious as to what's going to be in it. Right back to the artwork.....
