Spotify listen:
UK folkie...
tenth album, first for me...
debuted at #1 on the UK Americana chart this week...
im hearing a modern Harry Chapin in the delivery, stories and style on some tracks...
the experts cite Fairport Convention, Nick Cave and Billy Bragg as influences...
possibly hear a hint of FC in it...
a good solid album...
this one is not going to chart in the US MH, so listen to it mate...
Ruby, it may appeal to you also...
from the album:
my favourite track: "educated man"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5YSwG_Rg7Y (Harry Chapin style)
the single:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.

Oh, I'll definitely be listening to this one - thanks for the heads up.
You may be surprised to know that I've talked about him on the forum before -
https://www.music-discussion.com/showthr...pid103149, and
https://www.music-discussion.com/showthr...#pid120029 - I think he's great - fantastic violinist. Particularly like this song from
