Thursday and Friday were in the mid 20s C but yesterday and today in the low teens with cold blustery winds ! Climate change gone wild ! ha ha

Rain, rain, rain and more rain. And cold (for us). My cat has gone all puffy, lol!

Dams are over 30% full which is great news – Day Zero is a distant bad memory/campaign. Now we just need a good snowfall in the catchment area and maybe we’ll be able to bath again!

^Interesting! More rain than usual CH?? 

Our dams are getting fuller - almost 50% now and there's snow on the mountains which means there will be good run-off into the catchment areas. A great relief! Water restrictions are still in place though, along with hiked tariffs and penalties for overstepping the mark.

Very chilly for this part of the world. Brrrr!

We have been experiencing an unusually hot high humid summer with temperatures in the mid 30s and with the humidity into the low 40s ! Sound familiar Crazy mate ?

its been a wet August thus so far where I am in West Australia on the Eastern outskirts of Perth..

240mm/9.5 inches of rain already

our average day temp over the first 18 days has been 14C/57F

but the last couple of days has seen the clouds disperse and weve had lovely temps of 25C/77F...
here's hoping that means Spring is on the way!

^CT is experiencing similar patterns to Perth CH, which is hardly surprising.

Severe weather warnings have been issued for today, so we are to expect 80kph winds, freezing cold (by our standards, which admittedly will not be considered cold at all elsewhere ) and periods of intense rain along with snow just over the mountains and the threat of fires due to the warm winds that precede all of the above. Eeeek!

Mayhem and deluges due to descend this afternoon. On the plus side, dam levels are now at 60%+. Love a good storm, but preferably from a warm, dry vantage point - a vinyl fair in a nice cosy establishment, for example, lol!

Was a beautiful sunny day up in San Francisco today although it got a little bit chillier in the afternoon. I was up there for Open Studios Weekend 1 and was walking or riding my bicycle around the city to travel between the studios. The high was probably 75 or so and the low while I was there was probably around 68.

It's cold, and we've had a deluge or two. MOST unusual for Cape Town at this time of year.

We have not really had any winter yet although temperatures are set to fall this week. No snow to date. I believe Eastern Oz is in for a real scorcher this coming week. predicting 46 degrees in some parts.
