his previous album entitled "Americana" was my favourite album of 2017...
that was always going to be a hard act to follow, but this one holds its own...
same theme, with Davies recounting stories of his early trips to the US as part
of the British Invasion...
theres acoustic tracks, folky tracks, jazz tracks and a couple of electric driven tunes...
all up, pretty good, not as good as the previous one, but a nice companion album for it...
and all on the back of news that the Kinks have reformed, an album on the way plus a world tour
tipped for late this year, early next year...
