when I read the thread title I was actually expecting you to be letting me know why you think Ms Moyet is an icon but not a "cut and paste" link I have to click on to read a factual biography....

dont get me wrong, I'm well aware of who she was, loved Yazoo and her solo career up till 1990ish when she disappeared for several years,
I'm assuming youre from the UK because few people would remember her from outside England???
that said I'm from Australia (UK born) and I remember her music quite well
