ok, finally got to hear this album (it wasn't on Spotify Australia until this week...)
hearing Nathaniel Rateliff, Sturgill Simpson, hints of Mellencamp in the vocals on occasion, even touches of Steve Earle in others... a good solid third album from CS... I remember hearing his second set "from a room volume I" early last year but never got round to posting or purchasing it.... really liked that one, love this one, haven't heard his debut but im prepared to purchase on the strength of the other two... from the album, my favourite, could hear Springsteen all over this one:
