sixth album...
a very interesting sounding album, on occasion I hear the
Goth of Nick Cave, the Tom Goad of Springsteen, the early
sounds of Dylan and faint hints of psychedelia...
the vocals are haunting in places and emit feelings of sorry and dread...
music is also haunting in places, to me, it feels like im in "the deep dark woods"
at midnight, the moonshine broken in the dense forest and mist all around...
a very, very good album IMO...

Nice find CH – thanks. I listened and the more I listened, the more I liked. Yes, to all your references, with the melodies mitigating too much Goth (I find, thankfully!). His voice and delivery kept reminding me so much of someone else who I can’t put my finger on exactly - aarghh – so annoying! Interesting to see Jonathan Wilson produced their previous album which I’m going to listen to now.
